This is a beautiful work of art, peaceful and exhibiting much love by their adult leaders. While they are deceased, their leaders will live in their memories.
How wonderful it would be if these children were able to learn about the goodness that exists all around them and how eager the world is to help them in all ways possible. It would be grand if all of the children of the world were as happy as the ones pictured here, but in order to make this dream come true, the adult leaders of the world must sit down and talk.
There must be a way for this paranoia that is suffered to disappear. This would be a beginning.
North Korea need not be fearful or known as the "Hermit Kingdom." Their leaders must understand that they are safe within the world community, that nobody wants to invade, only help in ways that will make them a productive nation that is able to feed, medically treat and educate their population.

Nissan Showroom in Yokohama
Yes, a cool car and the robot is unique too. Like the color coordinated motif, though it would be difficult to drive around with the robot, I would give it a try. Would I get some smiles and waves? You bet I would. Congratulations to SHINNYGOGO for a great photo.

This a work of art, a photographic masterpiece. You engineered the entire image to perfection. It would be one magnificent travel poster.
Surely, those who study this photograph are able to note the contrasts, the colors and hues, the genius of such a capture. Congratulations. Robert

Soldier washing up
Thanks to J. Christensen for posting this vintage photo of a G.I. doing his laundry and enjoying a pipe. I can certainly identify with this image.
It was 52 years ago that I joined the USN and found myself at USNTC in San Diego, doing laundry and smoking my pipe.

Mt Fuji Close Up
Each time I view this sacred mountain in photos, I am fondly reminded of my time in Japan when I could see this beautiful sight from my duty station in Atsugi. I arrived in Japan in August of 1961 and departed in December of 1963. It was a sad morning when my ship sailed, a very sad sayonara.

1950 Plymouth (USA) p1
IF ONLY THEY STILL MADE THESE CLASSICS...The two-door fast back was my first auto. I purchased it in Trenton, Missouri from my Uncle Frank Huffstutter who had a used car lot on 9th street. It was a bright green and a real beauty. I soon found out that it had been "souped up" in that the heads had been milled for more compression. I could go on with many tales about this first car, but I don't want to simply ramble on like the 70 year-old that I am. Let me conclude by saying it was a great memory, one I purchased by flipping hamburgers at the Old Big Six Burger on 24 highway and Arlington. It had a pin-ball machine, a counter and a juke box. It was "the" place around for the giant tenderloin. On Friday and Saturday nights, one could see my Plymouth parked out back until closing time, my time to get into action.

My gratitude to the members who have opted to make their work available for exhibition in the Flickr gallery feature.
When I started my galleries, I didn't know how addictive this could become; I didn't realize how many great photographers and artists are members of Flickr and offer hours and hours of entertainment viewing masterpiece after brilliant masterpiece.
I now have almost 1,200 galleries and have enjoyed creating almost each one. Thanks to all of you. Robert L. Huffstutter

MARITIME MASTERPIECES
MARITIME MASTERPIECES, a gallery on Flickr.
The beginning of a gallery featuring photographs that depict the many moods of the sea and those who travel the sea for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes, there will be only images of a peaceful sea, while others will feature the high drama of the sea's many moods, like the image here, of the fishermen and boats.
