GRANDSON'S BEST FIREWORKS PHOTO: HE IS AN AMAZING JUNIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

ONE OF THE BEST FIREWORKS SHOT I HAVE SEEN. TAKEN BY GRANDSON ON 4 JULY 2009. USUALLY WE SPEND THE 4TH ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND; THIS YEAR, WE CHANGED THE DATES.

MY PROFILE ON FLICKR SHOULD LIST THIS BLOG

I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO CONNECT THIS BLOG TO MY FLICKR PROFILE

For whatever technical reason exists, click on ROBERTLHUFFSTUTTERBLOG seem to take people to HUFFSTUTTER'S PHOTO ESSAYS. IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU, PLEASE TRY AGAIN. I WILL FURNISH THE RIGHT SITE, SO GO TO IT AND LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO FIND IT.................ROBERT
THE PHOTO OF MY COUSINS IN DUNLAP, MISSOURI WAS TAKEN IN THE EARLY 40S. THIS IS MY UNCLE FRANK'S FAMILY. UNCLE FRANK AND UNCLE JIM WERE BROTHERS. MY DAD WAS ALSO A BROTHER, THE YOUNGEST AND LAST SON OF ROBERT LEVI HUFFSTUTTER, BORN IN 1856. My Grandad Huffstuter who died in 1938, before I was born, has had an interesting influence on my life in that when I think that my grandad, NOT MY GREAT GRANDAD, but my grandfather, was nine years old when President Lincoln was shot and killed. Thus, only one generation seperated my from our 16th President, a reason that I feel makes me feel I am much older than I really am, considering this immediate connection to the past/

DAUGHTER AND DAD'S FOOT

DAUGHTER HAS BEEN SUCH A BLESSING IN OUR LIVES THROUGHOUT THESE PAST FOUR DECADES.

A PHOTO OF MY GRANDSON

Grandson is one adventurous young man. Although he is usually quiet and reserved, there are few fetes of intense sports that frighten him. That frightens me. Hopefully, as he matures, his common sense about intense sporting activities will become a bit more conservative. He is my grandson, not my son, so I simply whisper a bit of Grandfatherly advise when I think it's proper. A good lad, an honor roll student and full of positive and upbeat energy.

Class of 1957 on the square in Caldwell

LOVE THAT BUICK.............RARE AUTO. AND A RARE MOMENT. GLAD THAT PEOPLE ARE STILL JUMPING UP AND DOWN ABOUT REUNIONS. I HAVE YET TO GO TO ANY REUNIONS OTHER THAN FAMILY REUNIONS, BUT THERE IS A 50TH H.S. REUNION COMING UP. I DON'T KNOW. IT MIGHT BE TOO MUCH TO SEE THE WAY AGE CHANGES FACES.......................I HAVE A HARD TIME LOOKING AT MY OWN FACE 50 YEARS LATER. IMAGINE THE IMPACT OF LOOKING AT AN ENTIRE CLASS OF AGED SENIORS.

IF I TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED, LIKE THIS ONE, I MAY STILL FIND THE GOLD I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THROUGHOUT THESE MANY YEARS.....

Abraham Lincoln quote

THIS IS MY PHILOSOPHY ABOUT THE POLITICS OF THE UNITED STATES...........There was a time when I never felt qualified to become President. Since March of this year, I feel like I could do a fine job. Robert L. Huffstutter

Man talking to Republican Presidents portrait

THANKS TO PERSIAN GULF WAR VETERAN FOR PERMITTING ME TO EXHIBIT THIS FANTASTIC PAINTING IN MY PERSONAL JOURNAL........

portrait
This is a Great Picture and the guy with his back to the camera seems to know what he is talking about.

So I said to him, "Barack, I know Abe Lincoln, and you ain't Abe Lincoln."

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

.....Abraham Lincoln
