Yucca Christmas Tree a

Many years ago my mom was involved in a ladies club, they had a Christmas house event with hand made crafts to sell for fundraising. So this isn't an original idea of mine. Back then I made one.
This time, I made a better base, using plywood with 45 degree braces, 1/2" lag screw into trunk. Designed the concept when looking for lights, Home Depot (I call it Deephole) had 12' ribbon with LED lights.......... ah ha! Candy Cane it is, sprayed red, then a whole can of gold on the seed pods. Added flocking (that stuff really squirts out, had to be very quick). Ornaments don't need the hooks, easy to hang on stubs without pods.
I have a small house, so the small footprint works great. And don't have to water it.
And it's not made in China (fake tree)

thanks to Kurt Womack for this photographic event.
