Big Hotel

I love hotels, as it almost always is a holiday of some sort. I just liked the 50's feel to this one and a view that is seen and has been seen a million times. By Missiz Beasley

THE ANNUAL HOTEL WINDOW AWARD GOES TO MISSIZ BEASLEY. Earl R.Stonebridge added what he thought would be the beginning of another great novel after viewing this classic black and white photograph. In Earl's words:

You and me both. We would not have been sleepy in Seattle with a view like this, a seedy lobby, a neon sign buzzing outside the window, the sound of taxis honking, the laughter of the people on the street below, the feel of youthful energy in a world frozen in the 60s/70s about to melt and explode into real time.

Oh', the smell of beer still wafting out of open-doored bars, the aroma of coffee just as the sun rises and wakes a city of mostly sleeping people.
